This study focuses on the presence of Latin and the culture of Antiquity in the writings of Claude Simon, Pascal Quignard and Jean Sorrente, and on the problematic notion of heritage. In these works, Antiquity becomes a reusable material rather than an autonomous text – it is reinvented or rather rewritten.
